Lightweight telescopic cane

A lightweight telescopic cane to guide the visually impaired. The sectional nature of the cane means that for use it is extensible by a simple flicking motion, and locks in position due to high toleranced interference fit tapers between sections. Twisting adjacent sections breaks the locking effect and allows the cane to be collapsed to a short length for carriage or for storage.
