WATERLESS LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waterless lithographic printing plate which is made of paper and capable of waterless printing. SOLUTION: Printing elements 3' made from toner are formed on a support 2 such as coated paper by a laser printer, etc. Next, a silicone rubber layer 4' is formed on the support 2 containing the printing elements 3'. After that, by scraping off the silicone rubber layer on the printing elements 3', printing element parts 3 and non-printing element parts 4 are formed to obtain a waterless lithographic printing plate 1. The printing plate is applicable to an on- demand printing system in which a necessary number of sheets of multicolor printing can be prepared in a required time.
