PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in dispersibility of particles in a polyester and moldability and processability by including particles having average particle diameter in a specific range in dense disperse state. SOLUTION: This polyester composition contains particles having 0.05-1.8μm average particle diameter and does not substantially contain particles having >=5.0μm particle diameter. In the polyester composition, the increasing rate of filtering pressure when filtered at a filtering rate of 33.3g/min at 290 deg.C by using a filter obtained by superposing two sheets of wire net filter having 64mm diamether and 2400 mesh is <=10kg/cm<2> /hr. The composition is obtained by forming particles having 0.05-1.8μm average particle diameter as slurry of water and/or an organic compound having <=240 deg.C boiling point and dissolving (B) a polyester in the slurry, feeding the solution to an extruder with a bent and including the component A into the component B. Thereby, effects hardly causing single yarn breakage in the case of fiber, excellent in readily sliding property, etc., in the case of film and excellent in dimensional stability in the case of resin molding are obtained.
