<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect presence or absence of contact only with the tip of a laser torch body and a work without bringing the work into contact with a communicating member such as a clip. SOLUTION: The laser torch 1 is such that a laser beam LB emitted by a laser oscillator 9 is converged through an optical fiber 7 by a condenser lens 5 provided inside a laser torch body 3; and that laser machining is then performed on a work W by irradiating it with the laser beam LB from the condenser lens 5; provided to the tip of the laser torch body 3 is bisected nozzles 11A, 11B which are mutually insulated and brought into contact with the work W, while each of nozzles 11A, 11B is connected to a controller 15 through a cable 13A, 13B.</p> |
