PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge internally generated gas by utilizing the slit for mounting an insert stay formed to the skin for a headrest. SOLUTION: At a proper time after the start of the foaming of a foaming raw soln., a plug member 44 is inserted in the gas discharge port 40 opened in a foaming mold and the lower end surface 44a of the plug member 44 is brought into contact with the vicinity of the slit of a skin 12 and, in this state, the foam within the skin 12 is cured. At a proper time after the curing of the foam 26, the plug member 44 is extracted from the gas discharge port 40 to discharge the gas generated in the skin 12 through the gap 16a of the slit demarcated by the build-up of the foam 26. At a proper time after the discharge of the gas, the plug member 44 is again inserted in the gas discharge hole 40 not only to press the built-up foam 26 but also to restore the slit to an almost close contact state and the curing of the foam 26 is completed in a predetermined shape. |
