PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely change a body posture with a small number of people and to keep a good limb position for a long time by providing a divided cylindrical pedestal for covering a healthy limb in an arch shape and providing integrally or separately a diseased limb receiving part for placing a diseased limb on its outer wall face. SOLUTION: A lower limb holding brace is constituted of a divided cylindrical pedestal 1 with an arch-shaped crosssection arranged so as to cover a healthy limb in an arch shape and a diseased limb receiving part 2 provided on the outer wall face along its ridge line in the longer direction. The divided cylindrical pedestal 1 is constituted to a base 16 with an arch-shaped crosssection by using a basket-shaped sheet made of a synthetic resin in which a number of windows 1a are arranged. In addition, a gas-permeable nonwoven fabric tape 1c is wound thereon and furthermore, the whole body is covered with a stockinette 1d. Pipes 1e made of a resin are provided on left and right shoulder parts of the divided cylindrical pedestal 1 to form guides 1f for stabilizing the diseased limb receiving part 2. The diseased limb receiving part 2 is prepd. by making a base by using a synthetic resin sheet and covering the surface with a gas-permeable nonwoven fabric tape or stockinette. The resin pipes are arranged left and right to form protruding parts 2a and 2b and to prevent the diseased limb from falling down. |
