PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control approaching speed of a pipe-shaped parts and to surely make them weldable by reciprocating a heater for melting the end faces of a pair of the pipe-shaped parts supported by means of a pair of clamping members by a melting member driving means and bringing the pair of pipe- shaped parts into contact with each other by means of the clamping member driving means to mutually weld them. SOLUTION: A pair of clamping members 30 are provided on one end face of a main body 20 with a portable size and wt. and the clamping members respectively hold removably a pair of pipe-shaped parts P and the pipe-shaped parts P are slid in the axial direction by a clamping member driving means 60 so as to make them approach or to separate them each other. In addition, a melting member 40 fitted on the main body 20 is reciprocated between a heating position and a retreating position and a heater 42 is made movable back and forth between the heating position between a pair of the clamping members 30 and the retreating position which does not obstruct relative approaching of the clamping members 30.
