PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a jelly packed in a container, capable of discharging a gas from the container, preventing the separation of water from the jelly, and not deteriorating the original color tone of juice, flesh, etc., and ingredients such as vitamins, and to provide a seal bar suitable for employment on the production of the packed jelly. SOLUTION: This method for producing a jelly packed in a container comprises fully charging a gelling agent solution 4 in the bottomed container 1 having a flange part 1a on the peripheral edge of the upper opening of the container, putting a film-made lid material 16 on the upper surface of the flange 1a, and a subsequently sealing the lid material to close the container 1. Therein, the film-made lid material 6 is put on the upper surface of the flange part 1a, pressed from the upper side in the central part of the upper opening, and subsequently sealed. A seal bar 8 for sealing the film-made lid material 6 on the upper surface of the flange part 1a of the container 1 has a circular press seal surface 8a approximately coincident with the upper surface of the flange part 1a and a projected part 8b which is disposed on the inner side and whose lower end is placed at a lower position than the circular press seal surface 8a. |
