PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for a flexible substrate capable of ensuring electric contact with a flexible substrate and an electric contact, having a rigid bearing portion of a pressurization member rotationally pivoted so as to be rotary against a housing, capable of certainly maintaining a closed state of the pressurization member, and capable of being provided inexpensively with a small number of parts. SOLUTION: This connector is composed of an electric connector 16 provided with an electric contact arm portion 19 having a contact portion 24 formed on an inclined face on which a top face 19A is downwardly inclined toward a tip end from a base portion 23 and recessed upwardly at a tip end at an opening of an upward first half portion of a housing 11 and a cap-shaped pressurization member 33 rotationally pivoted at a holding portion provided both side faces of the housing for opening and closing the opening. And, when the pressurization member 33 is closed, a flexible substrate F inserted into the above opening is pressurized downwardly and is connected at two points between a contact portion 24 of the electric contact arm portion 19 and the base portion.
