摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target sensing apparatus for simply effectively classifying a target real time from luminance distribution state and shape of an image and displaying many obtained target candidates or rapidly selecting from the candidates. SOLUTION: The target sensing apparatus comprises a plurality of binarizing converters 105, 106 using a plurality of binary decided values, line buffers 107, 108 for splicing respective binarized images by small blocks, and a classifying unit 111 having a plurality of processors 109, 110 for encoding the binarized images in the blocks to classify the targets corresponding to preset encoded values by combination of a plurality of encoded values output from the processors 109, 110. To correspond to the luminance pattern of the target, a binarized decided value is input from a calculator 104 connected to the rear part of a computing unit 103 for executing a statistic calculation to calculate a plurality of the different finary decided values.
