PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the characteristics, e.g. capacitance by dissolving a metal compd. in a solvent, dispersing active carbon and conducting agent in the soln., to prepare a slurry, dipping collectors in to cover the collectors with a mixture of moist gel, drying and heat treating the gel into a dry gel. SOLUTION: Polar electrodes 3, 4 are formed on the surfaces of collectors 1, 2, composed of active carbon, conducting agent and inorg. dry gel, and prepared by dissolving a metal compd. to be a metal oxide in a solvent by the electrolysis or condensation polymerization to obtain a soln. and dispersing the active carbon and conducting agent in the soln. as a slurry. The collectors 1, 2 are dipped in the slurry, and covered with a mixture, composed of active carbon, conducting agent and moist gel which is to be a precursor for the metal oxide. The mixture is dried and heat treated to make a dry gel therefrom. |
