<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image excellent in anti-offsetting effect and low-temp. fixability and fit for a heat fixing system by incorporating linear polyester resin, vinyl polymer grafted polyester resin and vinyl copolymer resin as bonding resins. SOLUTION: This toner for developing an electrostatic charge image contains linear polyester resin, vinyl polymer grafted polyester resin and vinyl copolymer resin as bonding resins. The linear polyester resin is obtd. by bringing diol and dicarboxylic acid, its lower alkyl ester or anhydride into condensation polymn. reaction at 180-260 deg.C. The mol.wt. peak of the linear polyester resin in its gel permeation chromatograph exits preferably in the range of 10<3> -2×10<4> . The melting start temp. of the linear polyester resin is preferably 50-110 deg.C.</p> |
