摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical add-drop multiplexing(ADM) node equipment in which the effect of noise caused of amplified spontaneous emission(ASE) of an optical amplifier is effectively reduced. SOLUTION: In the optical ADM node equipment having an optical amplifier 11 amplifying a wavelength multiplex signal light sent via an optical transmission line 10, an optical branching filter 12 branching the amplified wavelength multiplex signal into signal lights of each wavelength and branching the signal light with a specific wavelength, an optical receiver 16 receiving the branched signal light, an optical transmitter 19 outputting the signal light with the specific wavelength, and an optical multiplexer 13 multiplexing the signal light branched by the optical branching filter 12 and the signal light from the optical transmitter 19 and sending the multiplexed light to the optical transmission line 10, the signal light branched by the optical blanched filter 12 is inputted to the optical receiver 16 via an optical filter 15, SNR(signal to noise ratio) detection section 17 detects the received SNR of the optical receiver 16 and an optical filter control section 18 controls the wavelength characteristics of the optical filter 15 so as to maximize the reception SNR.
