PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the solid processing agent for the silver halide photographic sensitive material restrained from agglomeration even in storage at high temperature and emission of odor to minimum by specifying a weight proportion of acetate grains specified in graininess. SOLUTION: This solid processing agent for the silver halide photographic sensitive material contains thiosulfate and the granular acetate, and the acetate grains of >=149μm grain size amount to <=30weight%, preferably, <=25weight% of the total acetate grains, and the grains of >=4000μm grain size are, preferably, <=20weight%, and a preferable acetate is sodium or potassium acetate, and the thiosulfate may be any of sodium, potassium, and ammonium salt, but it is preferred that the ammonium thiosulfate is used at least in an amount of >=10%.
