<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer of high-speed operation frequency which can output an output signal with an arbitrary waveform directly to an external device while excluding a connection circuit that causes delay of a signal to the external device. SOLUTION: This microcomputer is equipped with a CPU 3 which includes a control part 4 and an arithmetic circuit 6, a ROM 7 and a RAM 8, a bus control part 9 which includes a waveform generating circuit 10 and a logical arithmetic circuit 11, and a reference waveform generation part 12 corresponding to the external device 2, and a register 5 is incorporated in the control part 4. An output enable signal 110 to the external device 2 has its waveform set optionally by the logical arithmetic circuit 11 by properly setting bit values of the register 5 through software stored in the ROM 7, and is outputted directly to the external device 2.</p> |
