PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus easily understandable sightseeing guidance by using a memory medium having a memory capacity exceeding a specified value as such housed in an information memory means to record sightseeing guidance information as video. SOLUTION: A memory medium is used with a memory capacity exceeding at least 3GB as information memory means 104. A specified video of a map data, sightseeing guidance information and the like digitized is previously stored into the information memory means 104. When positional information of a moving object is obtained from an arithmetic means 109, a control means 106 reads the map data of a specified area from the information memory means 104 and displayed as video into a display means 105 together with the position of the moving body. The display means 105 herein used is preferably an organic EL display. This enables the recording of videos of main sightseeing spots existing all over the country at a substantial rate thereby making available easily understandable sightseeing guidance using the videos.
