TWO-COLOR LIGHT EMITTING DIODE AND TWO-COLOR LIGHT EMITTING DIODE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reproducibility of colors of a picture to be displayed and the power of expression by pseudo colors by making luminous colors various colors and making the order of the difference between the pseudo color being the luminous color and an actual color small. SOLUTION: In a two-color LED 10, the color of the LED chip 11 of a first color and the color of the LED chip 13 of a second color are respectively made to be a yellowish green color and a bluish purpule color so that a straight line connecting wavelengths of these colors passes a white area in a chromacity diagram. Moreover, a pseudocolor display is performed by constituting a two- color LED display device while arranging many these two-color LEDs 10 in a matrix shape.
