PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the antenna capable of sending/receiving signals two frequency bands or over, and where miniaturization is a requirement for such an antenna for receiving a call signal for a portable device, whose performance does not deteriorate without the performance degradation and without addition of any special matching circuit for which a signal even at an even number of multiple of a low frequency band, other than an odd number of multiple of the low-frequency band, is received with one antenna together with the signal at the odd number of multiple of the low-frequency band simultaneously. SOLUTION: An antenna element, made of a long conductor is folded at least once, so as to be substantially in parallel with the lengthwise direction to form a folded part for the antenna element. Specifically, the physical length of the antenna element 1 in the lengthwise direction is formed substantially in resonance with a 1st frequency band, and the folded part 1a is formed to be resonated, even with respect to a frequency band which is twice the 1st frequency band, through the coupling between adjacent antenna elements 1. |
