Compounds in the form of powder, with excellent temperature- and solvent-resistance, based on (a) epoxy compounds with more than one 1,2-epoxide group and one or more hydroxyl groups, (b) hardeners and (c) additives as used in adhesives technology. Hardeners (b) comprise polyisocyanates blocked with (b1) inert blocking agents and (b2) cyclic amidines of formula (I) and/or (II), in which R = H, 1-10C (cyclo)alkyl, aralkyl or aryl. In this system, the OH:NCO ratio = (1:0.1)-(1:1), preferably (1:0.3)-(1:1), the content of (I) and/or (II) in bound form is 2-9 (preferably 3-8) wt% based on epoxy resin (a) and the hardener contains 0.9-0.3 mols (b1) and 0.1-0.6 mols (b2) per NCO group. Also claimed is a process for the production of these compounds by reacting (a) with (b) at 130-230 degrees C.
