<p>A method and apparatus for reporting a measurement report are provided, the method includes that: a terminal regards the serving cell as the best cell response to a measurement control message from the network side, the measurement control message contains the measurement control parameter and a trigger condition for reporting the best cell, wherein, the trigger condition is that: the best cell is changed; the terminal measures the radio quality of the serving cell and at least one adjacent cell according to the measurement control parameter containing in the measurement control message; when the trigger condition is satisfied, the terminal reports the measuring report of the best cell, and the measuring report contains the cell identification of the best cell and the cell identification of another or more adjacent cell entering the report range. The apparatus includes a receiving module, setup module, measuring module, and reporting module. Through the present invention, the network side can accurately know the current cell that has the best radio quality, therefore it can improve the accuracy of measurement data maintenance on the network side, and effectively support the switch within frequency or between frequency.</p> |
