A fencing system comprising an elongate fence post 2,3 having at least one channel 13 extending along the fence post; and at least one fixing means 14 engagable within the channel, the fixing means and the channel having cooperating means to secure the fixing means in the channel, the fixing means further having (a) a fence receiving portion for enclosing a part of fencing to secure the fencing between the fence post and the fixing means; (b) a tension wire securing means or (c) an anchoring means for an intermediate runner. |
