PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for a metal laminate excellent in moldability and heat resistance, reduced in the elution amt. of an oligomer, capable of being laminated to a metal panel by thermal adhesion, having no pinhole and capable of developing excellent corrosion resistance, a method for producing the same, a laminated metal panel excellent in corrosion resistance and a laminated metal container. SOLUTION: A polyester film is characterized by that an m.p. is 210-245 deg.C, the diameter of pinholes detected within a region of 1000m<2> is below 0.05mm and the content of an ethylene terphethalate cyclic trimer in the polyester film is 0.7wt.% or less and the refractive index (nz ) in the thickness of the film is 1.500-1.550. |
