<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the method for controlling the temperature of the hot rolled plate, by which a winding temperature can be controlled with high precision, following the change of the speed of the hot rolled plate during operation. SOLUTION: At the time when a point to be controlled is passed through a bank A in the middle of the bank to be used or a bank B of the second half, by calculating an average plate speed by an extrapolation from a speed history in the past of the point to be controlled, and by calculating again a necessary cooling quantity and a cooling quantity per bank, using the average plate speed, the number N of the banks to be used, which are driven from the time when the plate is passed through the final stand of a finishing mill 1 to the time when the plate is wound on a take-up machine 7, is determined again.</p> |
