PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the mounting of a recording head to recording head maintaining means with a connection of an ink supply system with ease and a high positioning accuracy. SOLUTION: In the face 11 of a recording head 1, an ejection port is formed for ejecting ink. The ejection port communicates with an ink supply passage 10, and the opening 10a is made in the same direction as the ejection direction of ink from the ejection port. The recording head 1 is inserted in the arrow C direction relative to a recording carriage 21 in a state of the face 11 turned to a recording carriage 21 side, and thereby held detachably in an opening 21e of the recording carriage 21. In this manner, an opening 10a of the ink supply passage 10 is connected to an ink joint 23 of the recording carriage 21. |
