<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a packaging container having a shape of a well-proportioned parallelopiped, which is made of a packaging material having expandable cells having rigidity, by a method wherein a number of seals distributed throughout the entire area of a surface of a material layer in one wall panel are equally orientated and each seal is allowed to have a narrow and a broad end. SOLUTION: A number of thin and long seals 8 of respective wall panels 2, 3 are positioned sideways in equal orientation in the longitudinal direction of webs 11 of a packaging material. Each seal 8 of two outer wall panels 2, 3 adjacent to a coupling panel 13 has a broad end and a narrow end, respectively, and the seals 8 of the wall panels adjacent to both vertical edges 14 of the container material webs 11 are orientated and arranged so that the narrow edge of each seal 8 is located in a position nearest each vertical edge. By orientating a number of seals 8 in one wall panel in an equal direction and making one end of each seal 8 narrow and the other end thereof broad, cells on the cell side cooperate with one another to completely compensate the inhibitory action of shrinkage by a seal coupling portion, and a desired bending-preventing effect can be obtained.</p> |
