WASHING OF TREE DAMAGED BY AIR POLLUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for washing a tree damaged by an air pollution by effectively treating a tree damaged by an air pollution with a simple treat ment, and capable of recovering tree vigor. SOLUTION: An ozonous water is shot out and sprayed on a tree with a proceeding injury such as a pine tree death and an unburned oil coexisting with suspended particulate matter and an acidic component in materials accumulated on a stoma and originated from exhaust gas are washed and removed by performing an oxidative transformation of the unburned oil and a high-level oxidation of the acidic component and dissolving the resultant product in water respectively. The ozone remaining in the washing water is degraded at the root of the tree to increase the content of the oxygen in soil and the activity of the tree damaged by air pollution is revived. The stoma is cleaned by washing a dried and sticking substance sticking on the leaf of the tree by an air pollution and tree vigor is recovered.
