PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suck securely ink from a printing head by a simple constitution using a flexible component such as a tube. SOLUTION: First and second valves 210a and 202a are made to communicate with a first cap 77a in series, and third and fourth valves 201b and 202b are made to communicate with a second cap 77b in series, and a common tube 103 is communicated between communicating sections of the first and second valves 201a and 202a and communicating sections of the valves 201b and 202b, and the pumping operation is carried out by using a roller 101 interlocked with a scanner and squeezing the tube 103. |
