FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston sealing of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: piston sealing consists of two sealing rings installed in piston groove one over the other. Each ring consists of two half-rings with elastic seals placed in clearance between half-rings. Rings are pressed to cylinder walls by expander.
