The coffering tray for concrete slabs used for constructing a bridge roadway comprises a metal framework (1) formed by a frame (1a) reinforced by stiffening cross members (1b). The framework is covered by a coffering skin (2). On one of its sides (4A,4B) there are a pair of parallel coupling and gripping sleeves (5) located above the coffering skin. These sleeves engage locking parts securing them to handling arms. These spaced sleeves extend parallel to the skin and perpendicular to the sides and their inlet (5a) is accessible from the sides. The sleeves have in their upper and lower walls openings (10) for the passage of the locking rod. Fishplates are engaged in the sleeves aligned with two abutting trays and engage with locking bolts enabling the rigid securing of the sleeves.
