<p>The invention concerns novel uses of 1-O-alkylglycerols and in particular of such compounds naturally present in fish liver oils and particularly in shark liver oils. More precisely the invention concerns the use of such compounds for producing medicines for use by human subjects to fight against sterility, for producing nutritional additives for veterinary use to enable the increase of fertilisation efficiency in animal farming, for producing additives for preserving sperm, and for producing factors stimulating the mobility of spermatozoids during in vitro fertilisation.</p> |
