<p>A bicycle having a front wheel and a rear wheel is such that a seat post provided at an upper end thereof with a saddle pivotally supports the rear wheel at a lower end thereof, and the rear wheel axle mounts thereto a pedal. Pedaling directly revolves the rear wheel, and there is no need of providing a power transmitting mechanism such as a chain wheel and a chain between the front wheel and the rear wheel as in conventional bicycles. Also, a rear portion of the bicycle is constructed in the same manner as a monocycle, and it is possible to ride the bicycle in a similar sense to a monocycle.</p> |
