A pump outlet (42) is provided for issue of liquid fuel under pressure to the internal combustion engine (46). A vacuum device (28) produces a vacuum and has an inlet (58), which is connected to a siphon (18). At least two fuel receivers (30,32) are arranged spaced from one another on the base of the fuel tank and have an inlet (68,70) for liquid fuel in a lower area of a section of the fuel tank. The siphon is connected with all the fuel receivers and the inlet of the vacuum device. The fuel tank actually consists of two tanks and at least one fuel receiver is arranged in each of the separated tanks. The vacuum device comprises a jet pump (28) with a nozzle (54) and a venturi-channel (56) fed with fuel from the nozzle outlet.
