Electronic fuel injector for model motor

The injector includes an opening (43) through which fuel is injected into the combustion chamber of a model motor. A check valve (47) prevents backflow of fuel. Preferably, the check valve includes a valve body (48) which is located at the exterior surface of the injector opening. A spring (49) accomplishes the contact between the valve body and the exterior injector opening surface under pressure. A solenoid coil (32) is arranged in a housing and has a core (34) which magnetically attracts a valve body when the solenoid coil carries current. The fuel injector is opened.
