The endoscope tube arrangement, fixed to one end of the handle (5), has a axial adjustment sleeve (6) on an axially movable transmission element (18). The axial adjustment sleeve can be turned axially and pivots on the handle and is connected to the axially movable transmission element by means of a threaded connection (6b,17) which incorporates the internal thread of the axial adjustment sleeve. A threaded element (17) on the outside of the transmission element fits into the axial adjustment sleeve which is positioned on the handle and prestressed by a spring (14) towards one of the two axial end positions. A rotary adjustment sleeve (11) is connected to the rotary movable transmission element of the endoscope tube arrangement.
