PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical recording medium excellent in light fastness and preservation stability and applicable to a high density system employing a short wavelength by adding at least one kind of specified compound to a recording layer. SOLUTION: A recording layer is added with at least one kind of compound shown by a formula (where, M: Al, Ga, Ge, Sn, In or Si atom, R<1> -R8 : hydrogen atom or each group of alkyl, alkoxy, allyl or allyoxy, X<1> -X<4> , Y<1> -Y<4> : nitrogen or carbon atom (all of them can not be carbon atoms), Z<1> , Z<2> : each group of alkyl, allyl, alkoxy, alluloxy, -OPR<11> R<12> , -OPOP<13> R<14> , -OSIR<15> R<16> R<17> , -OCOR<18> , -OR<19> , -OCOCOR<20> , -OCOCOR<21> or -OCONR<22> R<23> , R<12> -R<23> : hydrogen atom, monovalent aliphatic group or aromatic hydrocarbon group, m, n: 0 or 1 (both of m and n are not 0 or 1)). High light absorption power and reflectivity are exhibited for wavelength or 700nm or less and high density recording is realized while enhancing the light fastness and the preservation stability. |
