PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a modular jack portion and secure safety by providing a changing means for a modular plug inserting opening section in a structure for the modular jack. SOLUTION: A changing means 31 changing the size of a modular plug inserting opening section 41 formed on a main body case 21 is installed. The changing means 31 is provided with a pin terminal fitting section 61 to be conducted to a modular plug and a jack cover section 81 for opening/closing the opening section 41 on the opening section 41 . When no modular plug is used, a lug 81 d is inserted into a recess 21 c and locked, leg sections 81 f of the jack cover section 81 are kept in contact with the pin terminal fitting section 61 , and the area of the opening section 41 is decreased. When the modular jack is to be inserted for use, the jack cover section 81 is pulled upward to release the lock, and the jack cover section 81 is moved upward along guide rail sections 81 b into contact with the inner face of the upper end of a recess 21 b. |
