MANUFACTURE OF ELECTRIC-FUSION JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a joint of stable quality easily and obtain firm fusion jointing. SOLUTION: Locking protrusions 11 are provided at the peripheries of both ends of a mandrel 1. A resin coated heating wire 2 is spirally wound in close contact around the peripheral surface of the mandrel 1, and the winding start part and winding end part of the resin coated heating wire 2 are respectively held by the locking protrusions 11. The mandrel 1 wound with the resin coated heating wire 2 is set into a metal mold, and fused resin is injected into a cavity. A joint of stable quality can thereby be manufactured easily.
