摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To damp a rocking by subjecting the surfaces of a reinforcing plate used for mutually connecting beams which makes contact with the beam web and with the beam flange to a surface roughing treatment to the degree of providing a specified frictional coefficient required for damping. SOLUTION: The contact surfaces of a reinforcing plate 2 with the web of a beam and with the flange part 5 of the beam 1 are subjected to shot peening, respectively, to form irregularities on the surfaces, so that the frictional coefficient of the contact surfaces M is 0.1-0.6. The surface roughed by shot peening is plated with zinc to form a zinc plating layer 40-150μin thickness. Further, those having a friction coefficient and zinc plating thickness according to the required damping degree of each floor of a building are properly combined, the reinforcing plate 2 is fixed to the web of the beam 1 by a strength bolt 3, and the other end of the reinforcing plate 2 is connected by a slide bolt 4 to which a pretension is imparted.
