Disclosed is a device for discontinued preparation of pasta, i.e. spaghetti or the same, comprising a pasta feeder unit (7), a preparation unit for pasta closed by an inlet valve (2) and an outlet valve (4) for cooking and draining pasta, and a pasta dispenser. Said device is made smaller by having only one chamber (1) in pasta preparation device which is used to boil and quench or drain off pasta.
