The trailer comprises chassis (1) and wheels plus goods etc container (1.2) one of whose two sidewalls (3) consists of two elements in one plane and carried on a common swivel axis arranged in the lower part of the container. The two elements can be splayed out into an arrestable open V-shape. The base of the container is rigidly connected to front (2.2) and rear (2.3) walls and a connecting wall (2.1) between these. One element (1.1) of the sidewall swings outward as against the other element which pivots inwards in relation to the container. Element when unlocked swings out nearly into the plane of element or again swings inwards onto the base of the container. Element is rectangular so its inward leg bears on the base when swung in and the element rides in vertical grooves.
