The valve has a valve seat part which is located in an accommodation of the valve housing where it is held by the magnet tube. The valve seat part has a valve seat on a through hole, which is closable with the valve closure body. The valve seat part (18) is made of plastics and, after assembly of the magnet valve, is so far projected that the magnet tube (48) locates on a locating surface (62) on the accommodation (16) for the valve seat part. The valve seat part has a basket (20), on the base (26) of which the valve seat (36). Through the base the through hole (30) runs. The magnet tube presses against a free basket edge (22), thereby holding the valve seat part in its accommodation.
