The present invention refers to an improved corset, characterized in that it comprises: a corset member which encircles the body; a generally U-shaped strap or support band for supporting the buttocks, having sides extending downwardly upon the corset lateral portions, and having a central portion extending on the lower portion of the corset member back; the strap also comprises portions extending frontally, substantially superposed on the user hip region; a direction panel disposed inside the girdle member, and having lateral edges connected to the spaced portions of the girdle member, and upon the portions frontally extending from the lateral strap sides; the corset member is stretchable in a circumferencially resilient way.
