The invention refers to a pneumatic rotary percussion drill with two pistons and distribution via an axial cylindrical slide valve, designed to make drill holes in order to dislocate and excavate useful rocks and minerals from mountain blocks, using drilling-blasting technology. The installation is used in stope and mine advancing workings, tunnels and quarries. The percussion system is made up of two pistons (1 and 2), which employ an alternating and reverse motion, and the compressed air distribution system is made up of an axial cylindrical slide valve (8) that moves due to the compressed air cushions created by the pistons at the end of their strokes.
