Process for manufacturing an insulating web

A process for the production of an insulating mat formed from flax fibres, by formation of a flax fibre nonwoven in a nonwoven former, addition, before or during the nonwoven formation, of a flameproofing agent and an adhesive which can be activated by treatment with a physical or chemical activator, and treatment of the nonwoven with an activator after the nonwoven formation.
