RESIN COMPOSITION

The present invention is directed to a resin composition which comprises (A) 60 to 99 % by weight of a polymer selected from a group consisting of a combination of 1 to 99 % by weight of a polyarylene ester and 99 to 1 % by weight of a polycarbonate, and a combination of 1 to 99 % by weight of a polyarylene ester and 99 to 1 % by weight of a polyalkylene terephthalate, and (B) 40 to 1 % by weight of an ethylene copolymer consisting of 50 to 90 % by weight of ethylene, 5 to 49 % by weight of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester and 0.5 to 10 % by weight of maleic anhydride, said resin composition having improved impact properties while retaining the excellent original properties of the polymers of component (A). These resin compositions are particularly useful in the production of electric and/or electronic equipment parts, automobile parts and office automation equipment parts.
