The present invention concerns a roll-over device (1A) for a vehicle, comprising a housing (2) which is designed to support a substantially U-shaped tube (1) which can assume an inserted passive position (1) mainly inside the housing (2) and an extended active position (1') in which the tube (1') extends over the housing (2). In order to produce a device which reduces the risk of sticking in connection with extension, at the same time as essential elements of the roll-over device can be made to be self-adjusting inconnection with assembling, it is proposed that the tube (1), between the inserted position (1) and the extended position (1'), fully or partially encloses oscillating support tubes (7) and is fitted with internal guide devices (8).
