摘要 PURPOSE:To perform an effective production of ultra-high purity oxygen at a low cost by a method wherein components of hot boiling point are removed by rectification in the first rectification tower, oxygen of high purity produced through a top part of the rectification part is rectified by the second rectification tower and components of low boiling point are removed. CONSTITUTION:Rectified oxygen gas and reboiled gas generated at a reboiler 1a ascent within a rectification part 1c, they are contacted with a retured liquid from a condensor 1b to perform a rectification. Some substances of hot boiling point such as hydrocarbon, krypton, xenon, carbon dioxide and moisture or the like are discharged and removed from a lower part of the first rectification tower 1. High purity oxygen is guided into a rectification part 2c the second rectification tower 2. At the second rectification tower 2, a merged gas of high purity oxygen and the reboiled gas of liquid stored in a reboiler 2a is contacted with the returning flow liquid from a condensor 2b under their countercurrent action. Substances of low boiling point such as nitrogen gas, carbon monoxide and argon or the like are discharged and removed from the lower part of the condensor 2b and the ultra-pure oxygen is recovered from a bottom part of the reboiler 2a.
