PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the loading of a pedal in a vehicle by providing a rotational center changing means for switching the pedal between a rotational state around a first rotary shaft and a rotational state around a second rotary shaft. SOLUTION: A pedal arm 14 is composed of a first arm 16 and a second arm 18. The first arm 16 is supported on a first rotary shaft 20 and the first and second arms 16 and 18 are connected to a second rotary shaft 22. A connecting rod 38 is connected to a lock plate 24 so as to be slid against the lock plate 24. A link 40 is connected to the connecting rod 38 and to the rotary shaft 42a of a motor 42 fixed in a pedal bracket 26. Thus, when no torque is transmitted from the motor 42 to the link 40, the pedal arm 14 is rotated around the rotary shaft 20. On the other hand, upon receiving torque from the motor 42, the link 40 is displaced in a right direction and then the first and second arms 16 and 18 are rotated around the second rotary shaft 22. |
