<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength in the golf club head of a hollow iron shape. SOLUTION: A rear shell 4 provided with a sole 7 is provided on the rear part of a face 2 through a hollow part 3. A clearance A is placed at the rear part of the face 2 and a partition wall 14 is provided in the hollow part 3. By the partition wall 14, the strength of not only the rear shell 4 but also this entire head 1 is improved without thickening the rear shell 4. Thus, even when it is prescribed head weight, a shot is excellently made without deforming the rear shell 4 or destroying the balance of the head 1 at the time of the shot.</p> |
