PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feed for poultry farming, capable of enriching hen's eggs with vitamin D and calcium, comprising a grain as a main component, a calcium source, a calcium insolubilization inhibitor and a vitamin containing vitamin D. SOLUTION: This feed for poultry farming comprises (A) grain such as maize as a main component, (B) preferably 1-11wt.%, more preferably 2. 5-7.5wt.% (based on the whole feed for poultry farming) of a calcium source such as oyster shell, (C) preferably 0.01-2.5wt.%, more preferably 0.1-1.5wt.% of a calcium insolubilization inhibitor such as casein phosphopeptide and (D) a vitamin containing preferably 1,000-40,000 IU/kg, more preferably 6,000-33,000 IU/kg vitamin D. Prevention of defective growth in a childhood, weakening in skeleton, osteoporosis, etc., can be expected by eating eggs obtained by using the feed for poultry farming. |
